Subject and verb agreement

Basic (verb)

Two types - voluntary verb and involuntary verb

Voluntary verb - जिन verb पर हमारा नियन्त्रण होता है तथा इनकी ing  form होती है \
Involuntary verb - जिन verb पर हमारा नियन्त्रण नहीं  होता है तथा इनकी ing form भी नहीं होती है \
 उदाहरण -


 जिन वाक्य में What \Whom (क्या \किसे ) से Answer मिल जाये तो उसे Transitive Verb कहते है | यदि Answer नहीं मिले तो उसे Intransitive verb कहते है | 
Example -
१) I play cricket.
मै क्या खेलता हु - cricket 
तो play - transitive verb है | 
२ ) I play in the Garden.
Play - Intransitive Verb
3) We love Agra.
Love- Transitive verb
4) I enjoyed myself in the party.
Enjoyed- Intransitive Verb

Pronoun (Basic) -

Subject and verb agreement -

Rule -
Each \Every के साथ हमेशा  Singular Verb आती है | 
Example -
Each boy,girl and child was\were playing in the field.

 Note - Each - Noun ( Singular)
Every -Noun ( Singular)
Each of - Noun ( Singular)
Every के साथ of नहीं आता है | 
Of  के साथ Countable Noun (Plural ) आता है | 
अपवाद -
We each have
They each have
Ram , Shyam and Mohan each have
Plural noun + each + plural helping verb

Rule-  Negative - Positive
जब दो Subject "But"  से जुड़े हो  तो  Positive Subject के अनुसार Helping Verb आती है | 
Example - 
Not Ram but I is\are\am
I but not Ram is\are\am
Mohan but not I is\are\am
Not only General but also 40 soldiers was\were

Rule- 
If two nouns or Pronoun connected with "and" then helping verb should be used plural.

Example- 
Ram and Shyam is\are\am


Rule-
If two nouns connected with as well as , together with , with... etc
Then helping verb should be used according to the Ist subject.

Example-
The mother with her two children is\are standing outride.
The peacock like other birds is\are found here.

Note - 
And न होने पर  1st noun के according Helping Verb  आयेगी |
