Subject and verb agreement (Part-2)

Rule-

Either- दो में से कोई एक 
Any - दो से ज्यादा में से कोई एक
Neither - दो में से कोई नहीं 
None - दो से ज्यादा में से कोई नहीं 
Example -
A number of students is\are increasing day by day.
The number of good cricketers is\are bad.
Many a boy have\has come.
Nothing but tree\trees was\were cut.

Rule-

Everybody\one\thing
Somebody\one\thing
Nobody\one\thing
Anybody\one\thing
सभी  के  साथ Singular Verb  का प्रयोग होता है| 

Rule -

There -Helping verb -according to the next subject.
Example-
There are 20 students.
There was a king.

Rule- 
The + Adj -- Verb Plural

The + Rich\Poor\Lazy\Honest.

The Rich does\do not hate the poor.

Help the (boys) Noun
Help the (poors) Adjective

Adjective का Plural  नहीं होता है | 

Rule -


Who\What\that के पहले वाले noun या pronoun के according verb आती है | 
Example -
It is I who is\am your friend.
You who is\are my business partner.
Sachin is one of those cricketers who live\lives in Mumbai.
S.s is one of those miss universe contestents who respects their parents.

Note-
Only का प्रयोग होने से singular verb आती है | 

Example-

Sachin is only one of those cricketers who lives in Mumbai.

Rule-

One of + Plural noun + verb singular

Example-

One of my friends is\are a doctor.

Rule-

अगर किसी Subject का नाम Particular हो जायेगा  तो उसके साथ verb  plural लगाते है | 

Example -

My mathematics are very good.
Gandhi's Politics is\are praise worthy.
Mathematics is\are a difficult subject.

Rule-

अगर  कोई भी देश किसी खेल (क्रिकेट ) से जुड़ जायेगा तो उसके साथ Verb Plural आती है | 

Example -

India need three runs to win.
India is a big country.
Pakistan is\are 200 runs behind.

Rule-

 Collective noun-


Rule-

Time\Distance\Many एक Unit में बताये  तो Singular नहीं तो Plural verb प्रयोग करते है | 
Example-
5 Months have passed.
20 Miles is not a big distance.
20 R.s.is not a big amount.
20 Kilos coals is his monthly uses.
Five quintals of wooden coal is his annual requirment.
Note- 
a होने पर Singular helping verb आती है |
